FAQ’s

How is my personal information that I disclose to the specialist kept confidential?

Confidentiality is one of the core elements that create trust between a patient and a specialist. During your sessions you are in a safe space, you will not be pressured to disclose any information you do not wish to. All personal information stays between you and your specialist with your consent.

Your specialist will be required to give your referring GP an overview of your condition and treatment plan, this will also be kept confidentially by your GP. Also, it is important to understand that if your specialist has reasons to believe that the safety of yourself or others is at risk then they are legally obliged to disclose such information to the appropriate person and you will be informed if confidentiality is breached.

What should I do if I need admission or require out of hours contact?
